Just came back from another session for the record books!! Antti Rissanen finally stomped the elusive MTB Double Flair, a trick that has been a little over one year in the making!
In summer 2014, after landing the first ever MTB frontflip flair, Antti tried to make the double flair happen on the infamous compost quarter in Germany, but it wasn’t supposed to happen. The quarter turned out to be too small and/or the transition too quick, so he didn’t have enough airtime to get the trick around completely…

Now I traveled to the north and Antti gave it another go in Tampere, Finland. After a couple of attempts he stomped it with authority at around 11:30pm. – thanks again to the Finnish midnight sun for allowing us to ride and shoot at that day time 😉 sure enough, bad weather arrived pretty much as soon as we had the shot and our plans to do some more filming and photos on the next day were demolished. The alternative program for the next day was awesome as well though, as we spent it entirely in Superpark Vantaa. Good times!!

The sequence was run in FREERIDE Magazine as a double page spread for their „Hot Move Award“ article, also featuring a couple of making of shots and the crash photo from 2014.
